Oh hello there, I’m Kit! I’m a gorgeous black fluffy lady with a beautiful mane like my Maine Coon cousins, only without all the fancy papers. I came to Happy Cats Haven when I was found abandoned outside.
I’m a sweet girl who loves to be combed more than anything. If I’m being a bit shy, just show me my favorite comb and I’ll come running up to you. I really enjoy being around people, but I would like to have a peoper introduction before we can be best friends. I like to make the rules when we first meet, and I would prefer to be given the opportunity to approach you, rub my head on you, and then receive head pets. I’ll often show you that I trust you by showing you my belly, but if you pet my belly I’ll let you know that I don’t like it. As I get used to you, I’ll even climb on your lap and solicit petting…don’t mind the drool, it just means I’m happy!
I really love to play with crinkle ball toys and pompom balls and prefer flat cardboard scratchers! It may take me a few days to adjust to any new surroundings, because I can be a sensitive kitty. I would likely do best in a quiet home without other animals.
They tell me I’m around 6 years old, so I can be adopted for $80. My adoption includes important virus testing, spay, microchip, vaccinations, food and litter starter kit, a month of free insurance and a free vet visit voucher. Won’t you let me be your favorite kitty?
