Help Us

The Pikes Peak region is very mobile and thousands of cats are left behind every year through no fault of their own. We are their home-away-from-home before we match them up with their perfect families. We couldn’t do this without our scores of Happy Cats volunteers.

Want to help?

Your Valuable Time
If you would like to donate your time, we would love to meet you! Please consider being a volunteer or a foster for the cats and kittens.

Volunteer Program
From staying at home and helping with mailings or followups to coming in to socialize the cats or assist with programs, we have a place for you.

Feline Foster Program
Kitten Season is almost year round now. Help us raise loving, outgoing cats who will never have to see the inside of a shelter once they go home. And get your kitten therapy for free!

Wish List
We are always in need of items to keep our cats happy and healthy. Every little bit helps and will buy anything from cat toys and collars to cat condos and health care. Please see our Wish List for suggestions.

Calling Crafters
We tend to be DIY-ers and appreciate anyone else who is. Please see our sewing (& knitting!) page for patterns for everything from toys to beds to scratchers if you’d like to help by making something.

Health Fund
Although most of our cats and kittens are healthy and adoptable, there will always be those who need a little extra help. Your contribution can be earmarked for a certain kitty or saved for the next cat or kitten in need.

Donate Your Car
Please contact us directly if you have a car you are willing to donate to help the cats and kittens.

Old Fashioned Cash
For everything from a roof over their heads to the occasional cat treat, we rely on support from our Happy Cats Family of donors. Please click below and consider signing up to make a small monthly donation so we stay in operation to save more cats and kittens.

We are a 501(c)3 organization, so your donation is fully tax-deductible. The volunteers and cats thank you!
