Hello there, I’m Seymour! I’m a big handsome solid white fella with mesmerizing blue eyes that show off my Siamese heritage. I am deaf, but that doesn’t mean I don’t know how to love my people, because I’m just a big loverboy!
My favorite thing is playing and plenty of activity, so just get out the toys and watch me go! I can get startled easily if I don’t see you coming, but I love talking to you with my loud meow, just like most Siamese cats, telling you all about my day. I’m a curious fella, and will need a family with lots of energy to help keep up with me.
My deafness makes me communicate with other cats in ways they sometimes find hard to deal with, as I tend to get right in their faces and that can scare an adult. I will probably do best if I’m the only kitty in your household, unless you have a youngster who can grow up with me. With a gentle introduction, I may also do well with a nice dog, as my communication style may be more like a dog’s. I will do best in a home without small children as my startle response can make me seem unpredictable.
I’m about 9 years old, so I would love to find a home with someone who can devote plenty of years to me. It’s Adopt a Senior Pet Month so through November I only have a $30 adoption fee, plus up to $1000 worth of medical care with one of our veterinary partners for the first year, courtesy of the Lauretta Boyd Foundation. My adoption includes important virus testing, spay, microchip, vaccinations, food and litter starter kit.
