Hi there, I’m Lara! I’m a pretty black pantherette with the tipped ear badge of courage that means I survived trying to live on the streets. I’m a Hemingway cat, with extra toes on my feet that make me look like a ballerina when I balance! A kind samaritan took me in but ended up with too many cats, so I came here to find a family I can call my own.
I may not be the cat who comes to meet you at first, but once you get to know me, you’ll see me turn on the charms. At the haven, I wait until all the the hubbub has died down and then it’s time to come out and play! Once we’re friends, I’ll follow you around, having the most delightful conversations. I’m full of purrs and headbonks too, and will probably blossom into your Snuggle Bunny once I know I’m safe in my new home.
I do fine with the other kitties here at the Haven, especially with Mr Mittens, who came from the same house as me. We’re like an old married couple, happy to co-exist. I had bad experiences on the street with dogs, so will do my best in a quiet home without active dogs or small children.
I can be adopted for $80, which includes my vaccinations, spay, microchip, food & litter starter kit and a free vet visit voucher. Come by some quiet afternoon and I’ll show you what a sweetheart I am!
